When I rode, I was on a board that had come equipped with a software upgrade that provided 40% more torque (this is a free upgrade from Inboard). The wheels are rubber which provide amazing traction on any surface you’d want to ride on.

But it’s easy to figure out how to redistribute your weight to adjust for this difference. This means it’s a bit of a stiffer ride, which can take some getting used to at first.
The board itself is made of a composite material rather than bamboo. The ride feels incredibly smooth–just like it would on a traditional longboard. This makes for a lot less resistance when coasting and accelerating. The motors are actually hub based and in the wheels themselves. Unlike with a lot of other electric boards, there is no belt drive motor. The only clue that it is an electric board is when you hop on and ride it. Again, this integration is a first for electric longboards. If you look at the image on the left, you can just make out where the battery goes. The other applaud-worthy feature on this bike is the completely integrated battery. You can see from the picture that this board just looks like a longboard, which to me makes it that much more desirable. Inboard does a lot of good things right – they have a really good App that shows you stats and helps you update the board’s firmware – I forgot to mention, Boosted also has app. It also has motor integrated into the wheels, which means you probably won’t have to worry about maintenance on thing like belts as much, and it means the M1 actually coasts pretty smoothly too. The Inboard M1 is pretty smooth and some people prefer the stiffer deck especially at higher speeds.
It has an official speed of 22mph, a charge of 90 minutes, but a short range of 7 miles. It weighs 14.5 pounds, about 6.5 kilograms. What is cool about the M1, though is that easily swap oval batteries. The Inboard M1, it at $1000, cheaper than Boosted Plus. Today I would like to introduce you a skateboard named Inboard M1: They share the same interests and pursue their own hobbies, which further improves M1 and makes it more interesting.
